Is a girl’s trip way overdue? Yeah, I can agree. Your husband/wife/fiance/kids are getting on that last nerve and you need a getaway. If you haven’t started planning yet, I’m here to help you out. Let’s talk about America’s Best Cities for Getting Away With the Girls. Don’t forget to sign-up for our newsletter at the end of this post to get your girl’s trip guide!

Miami, Florida
Beautiful beaches, amazing nightlife, and some of the best culinary restaurants in the nation, Miami slides into first place on my list of Girl’s Trip greatness. Whether you want to chill on the beach for the day and relax to your heart’s content, or party the night away, Miami has it all.
EAT, SEE, & DO
- Big Pink (Eat)
- Wynwood Arts District (See)
- LIV at the Fountain Bleau (Do)

Houston, Texas
Ready to revel in a weekend with your favorite girls? Houston delivers with fabulous shopping, standout spas, to-die-for dining and nightlife that keeps the party going well into the night. Houston is a southern city full of charm, plenty to offer and so much to do. Looking for something high-energy? After you drop your bags off at the hotel and reminisce with your favorite ladies, hit the town and get into some trouble. I’m sure that in Houston, you can find plenty to get into. It sits in a deserving spot on my America’s Best Cities for Getting Away With the Girls list.
EAT, SEE, & DO

New Orleans, Louisiana
Have you guys ever seen the iconic Girl’s Trip film starring Tiffany Haddish, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Regina Hall? If you have then you know exactly why this location ended up on the list! Some have dubbed the New Orleans as, “The Bachelorette Capital of the U.S.,” but don’t let that discourage you from showing up and having a great time! Make sure you go to Bourbon Street for a couple (OK, OK like ten) drinks and take in the show-stopping architecture that New Orleans is known for. Pat O’ Briens is one of my personal favorites for a Hurricane. Therefore, with New Orleans being a foodies paradise and haven for a good time, it’s bound to be the girl’s trip of a lifetime.
EAT, SEE, & DO
- Ruby Slipper (Eat)
- City Park (See)
- Get Drunk On Bourbon Street (JK, No seriously)

Atlanta, Georgia
With Atlanta being right next door to me and knowing all it has to offer, I would be doing this thriving city a disservice if I didn’t mention them. Atlanta, Georgia is home to southern hospitality and cuisine which puts it at the top of my list for a girl’s trip destination. Whether you want to go to a five-star spa or grab a bite to eat at a fancy restaurant overlooking the city, Atlanta has it.
EAT, SEE, & DO

Las Vegas, Nevada
Sin City, known to most as Las Vegas, is truly my second home and I couldn’t recommend a place more. Vegas has it all! With its world-famous nightclubs, restaurants, and attractions, it is easy to make Las Vegas your choice for a girl’s getaway. There is so much to do and so little time before you have to get back to reality. Make sure you follow my Ultimate Las Vegas Guide to stay on track!
EAT, SEE, & DO
- Gordon Ramsey’s Hell Kitchen (Eat)
- “O” by Cirque Du Soleil (See)
- The Mob Museum (Do)

Destin, Florida
You just can’t go wrong with a girl’s beach trip. The beach is the main attraction and everything just falls into place. Destin is known to have some of the prettiest beaches and it surely does not disappoint. However, fresh seafood and sun are the highlights of this destination. So get your flip flops and go!
EAT, SEE, & DO
- The Back Porch (Eat)
- The Beach (See)
- Crab Island (Do)
