The Governor of Bali has announced that the island will officially be reopening its borders for international tourism. Bali Is Reopening To Tourists and here is Everything You Need To Know.
One of the most sought after destinations in the world, Bali, Indonesia will be reopening to international tourists on September 11, 2020. The Bali Governor stated that domestic tourism will resume on July 9th, 2020. The reopening will continue into August. If at that time local transmission is low, Bali will reopen its borders to foreign tourists.
“We must be able to build tourist trust, tourism is a business of trust, we must be able to build and create a sense of security and comfort for travelers while enjoying Bali.”
“First we will open tourism to locals and then we will review it together.” said the Bali Governor.
“We are currently planning and preparing for Bali to reopen. Hopefully, with the flattening curve and a decrease in cases, Bali will reopen faster than other regions in Indonesia,” said I Gusti Agung Ngurah Rai Suryawijaya, an official from the Bali Government.
Popular attractions like the Ubud Monkey Forest and so much more will be open for business on July 9th, 2020. Bali has been ranked 2nd among top destinations in the world that travelers want to return to when the pandemic ends.
